11/25: Burj Dubai

The next morning was finally time to see the Burj Dubai. Courtney and I hailed a cab and away we went. The trip was again wild as we passed countless futurama-esque high rises.
We then drove up to a super fancy hotel and our cab driver waited while we snapped photos of the Burj Dubai.

Byron was kind enough to stitch a couple of photos together using some software he has. Thanks in part to the bizarre geometry of the building it came together a little bit weird at places, but you get the idea:
Afterwards we hit the cab to the Jumeriah mosque, which is the only mosque in Dubai that allows non-muslims inside. However, they only do that in the mornings so Courtney and I couldn’t peek in.
After that we took a stroll back towards a neighborhood to grab some food. Courtney pointed out the following bizarre view. Byron stitched my photos together for a bit more of an effect.
