The next morning we slept in and had a delicious breakfast that came with our over priced "B&B". We definitely felt like we paid wayyyy too much for the place, but the location, as you can see, was amazing.

We lazily made our way up to the trail head of our hike for the day. Our goal? A rock wedged between two other rocks. I know, sounds awesome right? The hike started just at the top of the crazy road from the
Preikestolen post. When we arrived it started to rain. We decided to pop into a cafe at the trail head (telling you something about just how popular of a hike this would be on a nice day) and ask them a bit about what to expect. The woman at the cafe told us that it only took 2 hours each way, and that the weather was unpredictable, so it would likely subside shortly.
However, shortly after beginning we figured out that her advice wasn't worth much. Basically, half of the hike was climbing up slick rocks, while holding on to a chain to keep from sliding and falling into a deep chasm.

Below you can see the cafe we started at.

After several hours we came up to the top. From there it was another 45 minute hike towards our goal. The walk felt like something from another planet *cue X-Files music*.

We were so near to our goal, but to make it to the finish we needed that extra special something: BON AQUA WATER!

AND NEW ENERGY ENERGY BARS!

Finally! Victory!

Courtney braved the rock first:

Pose #1: Adventurer

Pose #2: The thinking man

Pose #3: Peace!

I was planning on doing "The Heisman", but I definitely was not about to risk it.
Courtney and me employing my tripod. You have no idea how small that rock feels when you're actually on it. But when there's two of us on it, and one was running to make sure to make it before the timer expired ... well, lets just say my palms are sweating just thinking about it again.

The view ... unreal.

The hike back turned out to be just as long, and just as wet as the rain came and did not relent. Finally, exhausted and with an adopted German motorcyclist, we made it back to the cafe for a beer, some pie, and a breather.
That night we had an amazing meal courtesy of our bed and breakfast's gourmet Lithuanian cook. Then, it was time to rest up so we could get up for a slightly less busy day.
Oh, and if you were keeping track:

You forgot the part where our hostel forgot to give us curtains! And, one of us ran after setting the timer?! It was me! :P
How long did you stand on the rock?!?And both you and Courtney on at the same time! Crazy people! You're much braver than me...did you see my pic on fb? I'm definetly doing the hike up to Kjerag again, the hike is so nice and I need to work on my fear of heights. I might be going on a hike to Trolltunga next weekend, hopefully I'll dare to go out on it! Check out the link and you'll understand what I mean!
